Coeval help “clean up” at Gigg Lane

Coeval is proud of the efforts made by our Business Development Manager, Garry Housley (pictured at the ground), supporting Bury Football Club.

Gigg Lane is a football ground in Bury, Greater Manchester and was built for Bury FC in 1885. In November 2020, Bury FC were entered into administration and the ground was later put up for sale by the Administrator. In February 2022. the Est.1885 fans’ group completed a deal to purchase the entire property along with the trading name and memorabilia of Bury FC. Garry, being an avid football fan of both League and Non league, volunteered to attend a “clean up” day to assist the local community in getting the stadium fit for purpose again. Though not a Bury FC supporter (he’s an avid Nottingham Forest fan as you can see in the photo!) he joined in with Bury FC fans and others to make the facility a venue not only for football but also for local community events to use all year round.

A good day out was had by all!
