Coeval Backs the Housleys

Not every important job at a football club happens on the pitch. For Coeval, backing the people who keep a club running behind the scenes is just as important as backing the players who wear the shirt — and this year that means sponsoring both Garry Housley and his son Kyle at Worksop Town FC. It’s the third year running that Coeval has sponsored Kyle, and the first time the backing has extended to Garry too.

Worksop Town isn’t just any club. Founded in 1861, it’s recognised as the fourth oldest football club in the world, with a history that stretches back further than almost any side still playing today. The Tigers, as they’re known locally, now compete in the National League North and play their home matches at the KC Sofas Stadium in Worksop, Nottinghamshire — a ground with a 3,200 capacity that’s seen its fair share of memorable afternoons under manager Craig Parry.

Kyle Housley — Head Kitman

Kyle Housley serves as the club’s head kitman, one of those roles supporters rarely think about, but without which no matchday would run smoothly. From kit prep to logistics on the day, it’s a job built on graft rather than glory — and exactly the kind of contribution Coeval wants to shine a light on.

Kyle Housley, Head Kitman at Worksop Town FC, said:

“I’m really grateful to Coeval Ltd for their ongoing support and for coming back on board as sponsors for the upcoming season in the National League North. It’s great to have such strong backing, and I’m looking forward to a successful season ahead.”

Garry Housley — 12 Years With Coeval

Garry’s own story with Coeval runs deep too. This year marks 12 years since he joined the company, a milestone the team was proud to celebrate with him — 12 years of the same dedication he now brings to supporting his son’s role at Worksop Town.

Garry Housley, Assistant Kitman at Worksop Town FC, said:

“Really proud to hit 12 years working with Coeval Limited. It’s even more special now because I get to help my son as his assistant in his role as Head Kitman at Worksop Town. We really appreciate Coeval’s continued support both for Kyle and for myself and we’re all excited for what’s to come and the success we hope to share.”

Investing in People

For Coeval, sponsorships like this one aren’t about visibility on a shirt — they’re about recognising the people who give their time and effort away from their day job, and backing the things that matter to them. A father and son both giving something back to the same club is exactly the kind of story worth telling.

It’s this approach — investing in people, not just performance — that continues to shape the culture Coeval builds both inside and outside the workplace.
