Coeval moves to larger premises in Ireland

Coeval moves to larger premises in Ireland 1Despite the challenges we have all faced through 2020 and into 2021, Coeval’s increased workload in Ireland has led to a move into new larger premises in Randalstown, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. This move will enable Coeval to better facilitate its existing and new customer base. “This new facility enables Coeval to continue to provide its wide range of existing and newly developed products into the Irish market, using the expertise of our Operations Director, Keith Lane, and his industry and market experience and contacts. We’re very much looking forward to developing our relationships and delivery capabilities further in Ireland”, said Richard Bevins, Coeval’s Managing Director.

Coeval has been delivering LED sign-based solutions to support road and school safety across the Island of Ireland since 2017 with School Safety and Hazard Warning systems being implemented on Ireland’s National Road Network from Donegal in the North to Cork in the South.

Over the past 12 months, as in England, Scotland and Wales, Ireland has seen an increase in active travel with Ireland’s Department of Transport announcing €50m of funding for local authorities for investment in walking and cycling projects. Coeval believes effective and strategically positioned intelligent LED signs can support the increase in walking and cycling and, when utilised with vehicle/cycle/pedestrian detection systems, create a wider, more innovative solution that helps to provide safer environments in which people can travel. Information provided by LED signage can help people to feel more comfortably and secure and most importantly enable informed decisions.

What our clients say

Connect Plus Services M25 Dartford Crossing

‘Even a short closure of the tunnel causes great congestion in the area, and if an over height vehicle were to cause that level of damage, the tunnel could be closed for hours, if not days, which would bring the whole of the South East of England to a standstill.

When the Coeval over height vehicle detectors were first installed, we were talking about 10’s of vehicles a day that we were stopping; we are now down to low single figures, 4 or 5 vehicles a day we need to extract for being over height, so it’s a great improvement in efficiency through the crossing.’
